Affirmations for Moms

Here is a GREAT link with some affirmations for moms.

My current affirmation is…

“I am a fun and attentive mother and I find joy in my daily responsibilities.”

Here are some other suggested affirmations

I play with my children daily.

I choose to be happy.

There is happiness in my home.

I can overcome hard things.

Children find joy in my home.

Having happy children is more important to me than having a clean house.

I read to my children daily.

I cook healthy meals for my family and I LOVE IT!

I love my children even when they are being difficult.

Some of those affirmations are negatively worded. And I would be careful about that. “The world is on my shoulders” is not something that I personally would ever want to affirm. “Motherhood is hard” is another I would rewrite so that it is emphasizing positive things such as. “Challenges are opportunities for me to succeed.”

Just more proof that I’m not the perfect mom down the road. :) It’s been a while since I’ve done much affirmation writing. I’ll go ahead and turn those into more positive affirmations. Thanks for the reminder!
