Picture 395Today’s Activity:

Go to a nearby rec center and rent a racquetball court.  Play ball or just sing loud songs and run around.

FREE:

Play catch in the yard.

Note:

There should just be a usuage fee so you don’t have to pay for each person.  My rec center charges $5 for an hour.  Also, most rec centers provide a wally ball & net.  You can also usually rent racquets if you need them.  If you don’t have balls try and find an old bouncy ball.  The kids will love just watching it bounce around.

Evaluate:

We weren’t able to make it on Saturday (thus the lame picture) but let me tell you this is SO much fun!  We did this a few weeks back and the kids LOVED it!  They laughed and ran around and to my surprise neither of them got hit in the face with the ball or raquet!  Who know that was possible.  If you can’t do this today then plan further ahead in the future and do it for sure!  If you don’t have requets then just pick up some balls and go throw them around!
