Date night is fast approaching.  Schedule a night out with your husband.

If you don’t have any ideas of what to do maybe you could check out a movie that recently won an Oscar.

Evaluate:

We are going to go see Alice in Wonderland (Husbands choice) and eat dinner in the theater while watching it (my choice).

Today’s Activity:

It’s that time again, plan a date with your sweetie!

Note:

If your dates tend to be group dates then make sure this weekend it is a one on one evening together.  If it is usually just the two of you then invite another couple along this time.

Evaulate:

This weeks was pretty easy to plan because we have a church dinner so all that was left to do was find a babysitter.

Monthly Goal:

Today I didn’t yell at Max when he was starting to loose it while doing his homework.  I don’t know what it is but he has been crying a lot lately about the dumbest things and I’m beginning to loose my patience but I didn’t today.

Don’t forget to leave a comment about something good you did today so you can be entered to win a $25 gift card.  Go here to read more about the giveaway.

Today’s Activity:

Plan a date night with your sweetie.

Note:

This is Valentines weekend so plan something extra special.  We usually sit around and wait for the man to be romantic but I’m sure he’ll be thrilled if you surprise him with a little romance.

Evaluate:

This was an easy one for me.  My in-laws have a Valentines dinner dance at their church every year.  It is always so much fun so that will be our date this week.

RECOGNITION:

Amy taught her daughter to make home made noodles!  Talk about patience!  I’d love to have her teach ME how to make noodles!

Joylyn took her kids to the park and stayed longer than she had planned!

Way to go ladies!  I’m sure your kids had a fabulous day!

Today’s activity:

It’s that time again; plan a date night with your hubby.

Note:

I know that this gets very repetitive but I feel like I am a much happier person if I had some alone time with my husband!

Evaluate:

This may sound like a lame date but we will be going house hunting for our date.  :)   We are going to be out of town this weekend so that was the best datish thing we could fit in.  Do you have any fun plans?

Today’s Activity:

Plan a date night for this week and schedule a baby sitter.

Note:

Maybe see if Grandma can babysit to save a little money.

Evaluate:

I’m planning a very simple date.  We will be eating at home and then heading over the rec center to hang out in the hot tub.  Monday made me realize that hot tubs are much more fun with someone you can carry on a conversation with.

Reminder:

How are you kids doing on their New Year’s Resolution?  See more about this month’s goal here.

Prepare:

In a few weeks we are going to be making tin can telephones.  Be sure to have at least 2 cans by the 26th.  You will also need kite string.

Today’s Activity:

Plan your date night…Christmas shopping does NOT count.

Note:

Do something festive like driving around to see Christmas lights, go to a light show, go on a cold carriage ride or just stay at home sipping some hot chocolate in front of the fire.

Prepare:

Go to the store (the $ store will work) and get some tea candles and plastic cups for Friday’s craft.

Today’s Activity:

Plan a date night.

Note:

If you’d like to apply this to your monthly goal then do something physical together.  You can play a sport or simply go for a walk around the mall.

Prepare:

Buy some ice cream and HOT fudge for tomorrow…or make hot fudge with this yummy recipe. We will eat this tomorrow but more importantly we will use the carton for an upcoming holiday decoration.  SO be sure to buy LOTS of ice cream that comes in the big plastic containers.  We are going to make ice luminary lights so be collecting any kind of container that would make a fun shape for a BIG ice cube.

FYI All the pages on the side (About, Motivate, Birthdays, Just For, Community, etc.) are all up and running so feel free to take a look around.  These pages will be ever changing so check back frequently for more ideas.

Today’s Activity:

Date night is coming up fast.  Schedule your sitter!

Note:

If you are low on cash forget the sitter, order pizza and cuddle up in front of the fire while watching a movie.

Prepare:

Friday we will be baking again.  Do you have any great Thanksgiving treats that you like to make?  Go shopping for what you need.  Otherwise just make something new.

*If you are a single mom then plan a night out on your own, you deserve it!  It can be a girl’s night out or maybe you’ve wanted to ask someone out for a while.  Whatever it is make time for you!

REMINDER:

Today is your last chance to enter the costume contest!  We haven’t had a lot of entries so far and I would be so sad if we had to just bag it.  Please check this out for more details.

Today’s Activity:

It’s that time again.  Schedule a sitter for a night out with your sweetie*.

Note:

Plan something HE would want to do for this date night.  Surprise him with an action movie you really don’t want to see or maybe even double date with HIS friends.  This activity is about making you happier but if you make your man happy he just might give you a nice back rub as a thank you…or maybe chocolates.

Prepare:

Friday is another day for baking something yummy.  You will be making your favorite cookies and if they’re your favorite you will probably already have all the ingredients but if you don’t take a quick trip to the store today.
