We’re going to go to the movies with friends on Friday and then just chill out at home on Saturday.  Mostly I’m looking forward to Saturday, I need some sit around a do nothing time.

Evaluate:

Earlier this month we participated in the 48 hour film project so our kids had an over nighter at my in-laws.  A few day’s later was our anniversary so the kids slept over at my mom’s house.  Then there was the screening night for our film and now we have the awards party tonight.  Because the kids have had so many sitters lately tonight will be our date night and then we will have some home dates for the next couple of weeks.  If you’re curious about the film we (we is a very loose term, but I did get all of the release forms signed so I helped) made here’s the link.

We have a big event this weekend so we are postponing our date until mid next week which works out perfect because it will be our 10 year anniversary!  My husband got some free passes from work for the Solomon center so we are going to do some indoor rockclimbing, indoor sky diving, and indoor surfing.  It should be lots of fun!

The weather has been clearing up (at least around here).  It you can think of something fun to do outside for your date night then do it.

It’s been about a month since my husband and I have had a date night so I’m really looking forward to this weekend.  We aren’t doing anything too extravigant but it will still be fun.  We will start the night with dinner and then go for a walk around an outdoor mall so we can catch up.

If I am correct Iron Man 2 comes out this weekend.  Just a suggestion from the wife of a comic book geek.

Evaluate:

I won’t be having a date night with my husband this week because he is out of town but if he were here I’m sure we’d be going to see Iron Man.    So in place of my date with him I’m going to take Elese on a date to a wedding reception.  Not only will she love seeing the pretty “Princess” but they are also having dancing and she LOVES dancing.  It should be a great evening.

This weekend is my husbands birthday so our date night will be with his friends for a birthday celebration.

We try to go on dates every weekend but it doesn’t always happen.  After all of last weekend’s Easter festivities it will be nice to get out of the house.

I have yet to schedule the sitter because our date night now conflicts with our favorite sitters parents date night.  In fact they changed their date night from Friday to Saturday because we were always asking her to babysit on Friday and now that I work Friday nights we go out Saturday.  But I will find someone and her mom is super nice so I’m sure we can work something out of find someone else not as great as Rachel.    Our tentative plans are for dinner and a movie.  I want to see Date Night because I LOVE 30 rock and the Office so I hope it will live up to my expectations.

Our date night is going to be some Easter shopping and a possible trip to the rec center for some relaxing in the hot tub.

We are going to go see Alice in Wonderland (Husbands choice) and eat dinner in the theater while watching it (my choice).

This weeks was pretty easy to plan because we have a church dinner so all that was left to do was find a babysitter.
