Today’s Activity:

Dump a small amount of flour on a piece of paper and draw pictures in it.

Note:

If you have a child who is learning to write you can have him write some words in the flour.

Evaluate:

Although this was a very messy activity it was also very successful.  It kept my little ones entertained while I got lunch in the oven and they enjoyed thinking of different things to draw.  Of course Elese wanted to draw nothing but Princesses and Wonder Woman while Max enjoyed practicing his spelling.

Today’s Activity:

Provide each child with a piece of paper that will fit nicely in their new picture frame and let them color or decorate it anyway that they want.

Note:

Allow them to display their artwork somewhere in their room.

Evaluate:

If you couldn’t tell by the pictures I did Saturday and Mondays activity on the same day.  I can’t ever seem to get Mondays in on the weekends.  Anyway, the kids love having their very own drawing properly displayed in their rooms and I’m enjoying having one less picture on my refrigerator.

I’m a slacker!

My husband did the drawing for our Halloween costume contest winner a while back and I have yet to post it for everyone to see.  First, here’s a reminder of our winner as well as a family photo of them.
