Today’s Activity:

Do what your kids want to do today.

Note:

Give them limits about what you can do.  For example set a price limit or a time limit depending on your budget and schedule for the day.

Evaluate:

Elese wanted to dress up like princesses and have a tea party.  After some searching in my closed I found my old Ladies Ensemble dress and lucky for me it is made out of stretchy fabric or it would NOT have even come close to fitting.  Elese felt that it was necessary to have cake at our tea party so I pulled out a muffin from the freezer and pretended it was cake.  It was nice to set aside my current stresses and just enjoy some time watching her get chocolate all over her face.  To make things more fun I would call her Darling and stick out my pinkie when I drank.

Max chose to play with stuffed animals which has recently become his most favorite thing to do.  He had the stuffed animals doing all sorts of acrobatics so we decided (well the stuffed animals decided) to go to the circus.  Above is a photo of Ace walking the tight rope.

painting nails

Today’s Activity:

Ask your kids what they want to do today.

Note:

You may need to set some limits depending on your day and budget.  For example, “What do you want to do at home today?”, “What do you want to do away from home that is free?”, or “What do you want to do that doesn’t cost more than $5?”

Evaluate:

Elese has really been wanting to paint her nails so this was the perfect opportunity for me to take the time to do it.
