Sunday, November 15th, 2009Have a GREAT day!
Have a GREAT day!
Yesterday I told you to take yourself out of the picture but today I say put yourself back in it. This is YOUR day!
It’s Sunday! Rest, Relax and Rejuvenate!
November is the perfect month to work on being more grateful. Let’s help ourselves enjoy Thanksgiving even more by counting our blessings everyday.
Today is your day! Relax, play, read, exercise…you decide but just so you know, I recently learned that there is such a thing as mother-in-law day and guess what? It’s today! So if you are feeling like doing a little service today do something for your mother-in-law.
Don’t forget about our upcoming costume contest. Check out the details here.
Your day has returned. Spend this day doing whatever you would like. Rest, Relax or even Recreate (with nice music in the back ground of course).
So I did not end up going to an Oktoberfest event yesterday. Instead we finished shopping for my husbands costume and Elese threw a HUGE fit in the fabric store! Lucky for us we ended up getting to go out to dinner for a nice little break from the kids. Our date night that I planned on Wednesday was Friday night and a success. It’ always fun to be active together and racquetball provided that. We got exercise and then ate some frozen yogurt. Did you go on your date or to an Oktoberfest event?
I have great memories of sitting in my Grandparents kitchen watching TV and eating ding dongs and potato chips every Sunday afternoon. Now that’s a great way to spend your Sunday, or at least I think so. If you prefer working in the yard or getting your grocery shopping done then today is your day so do as you please.
No matter what you decide to do just make sure that you have nice music playing in the background.
Well yesterday was not really a day I want to evaluate…however that is the reason that we evaluate so that we can be better the next day. My kids already have their costumes and we got pretty good deals on them but my husband wants to create his dream Superman costume. I realized we were spending WAY more money than I wanted but I also know this is a costume we will make once and it will be worn a lot. None the less, I was very crabby while we picked out fabric and the kids kept jumping out in front of peoples shopping carts. I’m pretty sure though, that if I hadn’t been so crabby the kids probably wouldn’t have been creating obstacles for innocent shoppers. Have you ever noticed how they seem to take mommy’s bad mood as a invitation to misbehave? Anyway, so in my evaluation I’ve been reminded, once again, that I set the tone for my home and my experiences with my children. So here’s to bettering my attitude!
